Three years ago, on an ordinary day,I was bored and decided to play a logical game that required some thinking and so I found minesweeper. The first year or so was just for fun but I become addicted from the first moment. About two years ago a friend saw me play and asked me why I'm not double clicking. I asked him surprised, "What is that". He showed me and soon my records came down from 5-35-120, as they were then, to about 4-30-100 (I don't remember exactly when I broke 100).I didn't play much for about 6 months thinking that I couldn't go any lower but then I found some competion and got started again. From the year that followed I don't remember much so I'll just skip it. This summer -3 24 81- I set myself a new goal - less than 100 with all three levels. I got it two months ago with 3-23-72. On December 9, 2001 - my records were then 3-22-71 - I searched the net for other players and found Damien's site and then this one. Belive it or not, I was more happy than sad; suddenly I had a new goal. I followed the advices there and watched some videos and so I managed to break my records one after another and achieved 19-66 in just two weeks. My favorite level remains expert and I hope I will break 50 someday. I'm very busy these days and I can hardly find the time to play one hour a day. I am a student in computer science and studying takes a lot of time. I like electronics, computer programming, pyhsics, basketball and foreign languages. I know English, German, I've just started learning Norwegian and I can understand some Dutch. Just remember this :
