Hello fellow minesweepers and other people. I began my career when my friend Cian thought me how to play around 3 years ago. At first we didn't realise the brilliance of this game but we soon found after not too long. I'm a naturally competative person and thus competed for best times with Cian and his brother Corm who also played. We soon developed a passion for the game and our records lowered gradually. I used to play exclusively in their house as my mouse was crap and I eventually deleted minesweeper from my PC as a result. After I couldn't play in their house as much as I wanted to , I put the classic game back on the PC. I played alot from there on in. Cian and myself would sit together and work out certain patterns of the game. We enjoyed the discoveries of these mathematical certainties! It was only after we had beaten the 40 barrier and got to low 100s on Exp that we discovered that you could double click! I think alot of the mouse speed factor in the game depends on your mouse postioning and your desk setup. My mouse speed varies from week to week as I have a really awkward mouse positioning. The table is low and is very uncomfortable. I have tried to improve it but because the pc is in my brothers room and he owns it, I cannot tamper too much. I feel if I could improve the positioning then my times would lower by a good few seconds. In everygame I make misclicks which results in the game being wrecked. I am a student in college studying "Fitness Instuctor and Leisure Management". I am a member of the local athletics club . I am a big boxing fan, making my three favourite sports boxing, athletics and soccer respectively. I also love to play tennis and do so with my brother and varous other friends. I play chess occasionally and am a good player. I have won 2 chess tournaments in school. I enjoy being outdoors, I keep fit and like certain quizes. I don't watch much tv and never watch soaps as I think they are a waste of time. I prefer Expert to Intermediate but I also love Int. It is a different sort of style and I enjoy that. It took me ages to beat my record of 20 and join the sub 20 list of players. That has been the only goal I have ever set myself in Minesweeper. However I now have a new goal - To equel or beat the current world record of 10 set by Matt from America. You goin' down Punk! Good Luck Owen Occupation: student
